My best friend posted an article a little while back titled, “20 Realities You Must Accept Before You Can Truly Live Your Best Life,” and some of the “realities” the author mentions really resonated with me. The image above was one of them. There were many, but the three below were among my favorite. I’ll link the article for you to read HERE.
All of the pieces of advice are really pretty obvious, but sometimes you just have to read it over and over throughout your life to remind yourself. It’s not like this was the first time I ever heard any of this advice. But each time I read them it feels as if I’m in a different place in my life and that makes a big difference as to how each one affects you. I’m sure in 10 years there would be 4 of them that mean more to me than the ones I’ve mentioned here today. And those of your reading may have needed to read 4 completely different ones than I felt drawn toward. We all want to live our best life, right? I hope you can take a few minutes to read the article. Maybe a few of the items resonate with you as they did with me.
Outfits of the past couple of weeks. Please note that I’m still growing the hair out! I buckled down and got a very very very slight trim to give my ends new life, but it takes me to see my hair in pictures for me to realize just how far I’ve come since 2 Halloweens ago! Most people can grow this amount of hair in 6 months. And I’m even taking Biotin vitamins AND using a Biotin shampoo. It would take me a decade to grow enough hair to donate!
Avon Reviews!
It’s been about 3 weeks since I started selling Avon and I’m really enjoying the products I’ve been able to try out so far. Thank you to anyone that has placed an order with me so far. I love being able to help other look (and smell) their best! I’m going to highlight a few products below from Campaign 3 that ends Tuesday night. All of the products are also available in Campaign 4, they just have different prices and/or promotions. Use the QR below to get direct access to my estore and let me know if you’d like to put in an order. I’ll place an order tomorrow night so if you’d like to place an order with me directly to save on shipping and tax, just shoot me a text, email, or message on Facebook. And if you haven’t already, please take a minute to join my Avon Facebook group!
This entire box is only $10 when you spend $40. It includes the Anew Ultimate Day cream and Night cream sample sizes. They are very generous and will last at least a month! I’ve been using it day and night every day for 2 weeks now and it’s barely made a dent in the size. The Eye Lift Pro is a FULL size!
See page 210 in Campaign 3’s brochure to check it out!
I’m LOVING this primer. I’m using the Pink for improved skin tone and brightening. I put it on underneath their matte pressed powder and have been very impressed at home it makes my skin look. Like it has a light foundation on. They have 4 other types for different skin types and purposes. They are $19 each in Campaign 3 and BOGO 50% with other products in C4.
I also am a big fan of this product. I’ve sold several of these so far so I’m hoping others are liking it to. It’s been featured in a few fashion magazines as well. I’m using the shade “fair” and feel as if it’s perfect.
It adds a little “foundation like” tint to your skin before putting on pressed powder, or nothing at all. I prefer a matte look to my skin so I always top with a powder. I let it dry completely before applying the powder and it lasts all day!
Instead of doing separate reviews, I’ll just address them each below:
1. I currently have the 2 in 1 tattoo lip marker in 2 shades. If you like a matte lip then this product is for you! This, and the Mattitude Soft Matte Liquid Lip gloss are really nice matte options. I like using them and even top with chapstick if I feel it’s too dry.
2. I haven’t ordered any of their gel nail polish because I use powder dip still, but during our next campaign they are 2 for $12 so I figured I’d include them. I didn’t even realize Avon did nail products. They are the “no lamp” gels that just need a color and the clear coat that is paired with it. Lots of pretty colors as options!
3. Vitamin C serum is all the rage right now. I love the way it feels on my skin. I use it after I wash my face and before I use my Anew moisturizer. All things serum are featured in our Campaign 4 brochure.
4. These are the most popular face regimens. The Ultimate option is the one featured in the A box in Campaign 3 for $10. All items in each bundle for $55 is definitely a deal if you’re looking to try some new face creams. Both have SPF in the day creams.
5. Rice Water Face Wash. I’ve read the amazing reviews and am purchasing for myself in my next order. Stay tuned for a review.
6. Pressed Matte Powder. I’ve been using for 2 weeks and I’m loving it. Very light and definitely a smooth matte finish. I have been using Light Medium I believe.

So I’ll finish up here with a little bit of an OCD-ness that I exhibited today. I had to make a visit to TJ Maxx and Target today (painful task I know) to try and find Kenny some work shirt options. His size is not “typical” and it is exhausting trying to find things that fit him. So I literally measure him befor e I left and took a tape measure to measure shirts. He sure as hell wasn’t going to come with me, so it was the closest thing I had. So…I found a bunch of options at Target for buttoned shirts that actually worked and a few items from TJ Maxx that were more 3/4 zip options. I only have 2 things to return from Target, so I’ll consider that a win for sure.
Anywho…back to my OCD. As I was checking out at TJ Maxx, I impulse bought a cute class bowl with hearts on it for Valentine’s Day. It was perfect for our Peanut M&Ms that we always have sitting out for guests. Well…since we always put them out I try to keep them pretty stocked up. As I went to fill up the bowl when I got home I realized that all of the bags I have right now are still the “holiday” bags which only have red and green colors. Kind of tacky to me, but I know that really no one cares. So…here’s where the OCD kicks in. As I was getting ready to fill the bowl it occurred to me that it would be cute if all of the M&Ms were just red. And then it hit me…I could split up the bag and use the red ones for Feb and then have green ones for St. Patrick’s Day in March! Too crazy? Well…here you go!
I zipped up the green ones for later and happily laid out the cute heart bowl with red peanut M&Ms. It kind of looks like a bowl of cherries, but definitely looks better to me than the red/green option. There’s your daily dose of Stephanie Crazy folks. It’s all in the details right?
