Saturday–Take 2!

Who doesn’t love a nice 3 day weekend? The best part about them is that Sundays turn into Saturdays and who doesn’t want more Saturdays?

Not that I got a lot accomplished today, but all in all, it was a pretty great day. Besides sleeping in and having coffee, I took Makenna to see Taylor High School’s production of Cinderella. I was very impressed! I love watching school musicals because acting is one huge fear of mine that I just admire that others can do. Not only are they acting, but the singing on top of that? Crazy talent.

I was pretty excited about the outfit I wore because I had a few new items that I was trying out. I’ll go ahead and include them below with any links I have available. I updated my manicure Friday night so I slipped in a picture of the color I chose below as well. Hush is a very understated soft pink, but is a MUST HAVE for anyone starting to dip themselves. See my page on Nails & Beauty for links to supplies and tutorials.

Ivory Fuzzy Sweater: H & M
High Waisted Button Fly Jeggings: American Eagle (SO COMFY AND HAVE STRETCH!) They also have tall and petite (I got them in tall even though they are supposed to be shorter)
Gold Arrowhead Necklace: Kinsley Armelle, Search, “arrowhead” (on sale for 23.99) See closeup pic above. It is a very high quality piece!
Stacked Bracelets: Kinsley Armelle (I love the mix of blacks and gold)
Remember to use code: steph15 if you shop on Kinsley’s site
Leopard Leather Earrings: Jane
Leopard Slip Ons: Steve Madden from Amazon (apparently they are pretty popular bc they are sold out already. I just ordered them a week ago!)
Turquoise Statement Ring: Lavender Blue on Etsy, code steph20 for 20% off
Rose Gold Criss Cross Ring: Also a shop on Etsy

Hair Hide Clutch: The clutch needs it’s own section…I got it from www.thesiskiss.com. Follow them on Instagram to see all of the cool items they release. I have seen this clutch on their posts over and over, but ultimately what got me was that they put it on sale. And who isn’t a sucker for a sale, right? It definitely costs more than I would typically spend on a purse, especially a clutch, but man…It’s gorgeous! It’s hot pink on the inside and is made of genuine leather. The quality of the piece is 2nd to none, promise! I’m still waiting on the “name necklace” that they have been known for. My name is too long for a necklace like this so I just got my monogram. I can’t wait to post a picture! I have the zodiac necklace in the picture below from their shop as well. I love a lot of their pieces. I’d check them out if you like to own unique pieces of jewelry that not a lot of people have! I follow people on IG that have 20% off codes so let me know if you don’t find one and I’ll send you one.

After getting back from the play I made the kids lunch and caught up on a couple of Grey’s Anatomy episodes since Kenny wasn’t home. I’m not going to lie…I ugly cried at one of the episode endings. Totally had to run and grab napkins as tissues and curled up on the couch crying. Man…they get me every time!

I took Jackson and a friend to a movie night at school and came home for dinner. I took some laundry upstairs, but given that it’s really only “Saturday” I wasn’t stressing about actually putting anything away. Lol. After dinner I did my “grocery shopping” on Kroger online and scheduled my groceries to be delivered tomorrow between 1pm-2pm. Man…it just doesn’t get any better than that does it!? I know it seems lazy, but just think of all of the things I’ll be getting done while someone else is shopping for me! And now that they deliver adult beverages and text every time they need to substitute an item, I just don’t see any reason to go back…

Okay…that’s enough for now. I’ll hop on here tomorrow night because I’m going to do an entire post on the items that I have delivered through Amazon Subscribe and Save to show you just how many items I have scheduled on a monthly basis. If you know me well enough, you won’t be surprised…but those of you that don’t, you might be.

I can’t tell you how much time and money I have saved by having these items shipped in bulk on a monthly basis. Some not every month, but definitely on some sort of monthly schedule. I don’t have to worry about running out because not only are they scheduled automatically, they come in bulk so there are enough not to have to have them come each and every month. Hopefully if you are reading this you are off tomorrow for the President’s Day holiday! Enjoy your 2nd Saturday of the weekend folks! 🙂
