Saving with Amazon Subscribe + Save 🤑

Each month we have what seems to be an inordinate amount of boxes delivered to our doorstep. It is not merely because I love to online shop….but because I have Subscribe and Save set up through Amazon and products that we set up are scheduled to be delivered on a monthly basis based on how often I want them delivered. This all began when we started having kids and I was so annoyed that we couldn’t make it out of any store without 2 carts because of the amount of space that diapers, formula, wipes, etc took up, not to mention our regular groceries.

I turned to online shopping and, at first, discovered Diapers.com and used that for a good deal of time. It not only saved us time, but the energy alone from lugging around large boxes and 2 carts was now unnecessary. As the kids got older, I wanted to expand the delivery of items from just diapers and wipes to other items we buy on a regular basis. This is where my Subscribe and Save obsession began. Not only do you save money on the items because you are choosing this as an option, if you have a certain number of items delivered each month, there is an overall discount applied to your order. And the extra bonus to this plan is that you are not committed to anything you start purchasing. You can get it for one month, save the money and then either stop the subscription all together, skip a shipment, or change the frequency with no penalty. This system allows me to stay stocked up on items that everyone uses regularly without worrying about running out. From deodorant and toothpaste to paper towels and chapstick!

I then branched out from toiletry products to grocery items like coffee and fruit snacks. Gatorade is another example of something that is often out at Kroger, but when you have a couple cases delivered each month, you can stay stocked up without worrying about running out. When summer gets closer, I start subscribing to sunscreen so I can stock up in bulk without having to purchase at much higher prices during the summer months at retail stores. I am going to include a list of items that are on my list for December below just to give you an idea of the items that you can depend on and you can compare their prices with single purchase options from your regular stores. I will eventually add a Subscribe and Save tab with all my favorite items in case you’d like to click and save yourself without having to search for items. Hopefully this helps keep you stocked up as much as it has my family! Eventually, you get used to the monthly bombardment of boxes and so do your neighbors. 🤣 The hard part is when you end up out of town when a shipment comes in and you need to ask someone to come put your boxes in your garage! The beauty of this is that if you plan enough in advance, you can have all of your orders pushed to a different week or skip items in order to decrease the amount that is delivered at once.

Keep in mind…some of the items below do not arrive at my home monthly….some are monthly, some are once every 3 or 5 months. These are just the ones that are scheduled for December. Many of the beauty products I have set up to be every 6 months because they last that long or I am not sure if I want to order them again and I’m going to try them out and decide later, but I wanted the discount. I will also add that this saves time during your regular grocery runs. You no longer need to think of all the toiletry items for the most part because you know you have those covered and can focus on strictly food items each week. And did I mention that all S+S items ship FREE?
