Thursday Starts the Weekend…

#internationalwomensday2019

Well happy Thursday everyone. I hope everyone is doing their “snow day” dance because it sounds like that’s what they’re predicting. They also said Sunday night would be something big and that turned out to be basically nothing at all. So I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I’m sorry I didn’t put together a Wardrobe Wednesday last night. Time got away from me and by the time I realized I had forgotten I didn’t have enough time to put it all together. So here we are…

I know I’ve been talking about how I’ve been trying to cut back on my online shopping. And I’m very proud to say that a significantly smaller number of packages have been arriving to our house lately. But I’m not perfect…but I will say that the box that came today was the first that has come in like 2 weeks and that is PROGRESS people! It’s not like the things I bought were even anything special, but sometimes a fix is a fix. LOL. The items I ordered are below.
Sponsored links.

I love purses that are larger and sometimes my stuff just gets lost and it’s hard to find things. I saw this organizer on another blogger’s site and when I read the reviews I decided to give it a try. I’ve had other organizers before, but this one is stiffer and actually keeps its shape in my purse. Two thumbs up so far!

I know the blue car gloves are a little random, but I hate when I’m driving and I notice there is dust all over my car. I don’t just have clorox wipes sitting around, but I tuck these gloves in my driver’s side door so when I’m at a stop sign I can wipe off my console, drink holders, navigation screen, etc. The one I had before started to fall apart for some reason so I ordered new ones. One for my car and one for Kenny’s. The microfiber really does clean all of the surfaces well without needing to wet down a rag and actually “clean” the car every time there’s dust.

The dress was another that I saw another blogger model and it was on sale and came in so many different patterns and colors. I can see myself wearing this with a jean jacket, cardigan, or alone when its warm. I don’t have a lot of red and I just felt it was a very fun dress. And….IT HAS POCKETS!

I can’t wait to read the Rachel Hollis books. I just need to find the time, but I’m going to commit to doing that. I’ve always considered myself as being somewhat confident in myself as far as being able to be a good mom, wife, friend, etc. But sometimes I struggle to be confident in other areas. Areas that don’t just come naturally. Even starting this blog took a lot for me to do. All I could think about was, will people like it? Will they make fun of the things I write about? Will people think it’s stupid? Will I look okay? All questions that I shouldn’t care about….but I do. For whatever reason, I’ve always been a people pleaser and have valued the opinions of others. And sometimes even more than my own. Which I know is a problem! So I’m working on it. So when I began following Rachel Hollis I noticed that these types of topics were ones she focused on. The more I listened to her speak and read things she’s written I began to think I could learn a thing or two from her journey. So…here I am! I’m on my own journey and I’m looking forward to gaining some confidence and finding value in myself by reflecting and reading about how others have done the same. Stay tuned. 🙂

Now for some less serious stuff…outfits! And since I skipped posting on Wednesday I have a couple more outfits than usual. Here we go…

Cream Sweater: H&M
Collared Jean Shirt: Target (You can’t tell, but it’s short sleeved and too big, but I found it for $5 and I knew I’d be wearing it under things and it would matter that it was big or short sleeved. Lol)
Lace Cami Extender: Jane
Fringe Earrings: Kinsley Armelle
Name Necklace: The Sis Kiss

Green Striped Dress: New York & Company
Gold Studded Flats: Poshmark
Fringe Earrings: Jane

Grey Jean Jacket: LuLaRoe Harvey
Grey & White Striped Dress w Pockets: jane
Blanket Scarf: Amazon (I used a hair tie to join the scarf around my neck)
Grey Suede Boots: Amazon

Animal Print Cardigan: Jane (link isn’t the exact sweater, but very similar)
Striped Tunic: Jane
Druzy Stone Necklace: Kinsley Armelle
Stacked Bracelet Set: Kinsley Armelle (There are several different bracelets in the stack I am wearing. This link is to one of them) Sponsored link.
Black Druzy Ring: Lavendar Blue (steph20)

That’s enough outfits for now. I’m watching the DVR’d episode of the “fence jump” from this season of the Bachelor. Wow…I actually feel so bad the guy. He’s literally walking down the steps and jumping as I type. They’ve been publicizing this scene for weeks now and it’s finally here! Very dramatic. The very reason I watch reality TV right here…

I guess I’ll finish watching to see how this one ends. It’s a 2 night finale so I’m prepared to be left hanging. Night everyone!
