Blog Update

Wardrobe Wednesday 2.27.19

Did you know that International Women’s Day is Friday, March 8th? I didn’t even that was a thing, did you? Well….not that we don’t celebrate that all of the time in many different ways, but it’s nice to know that it’s a “thing,” right? I found out in an email from Jane.com and they made a really cool announcement, in honor of this special day, that I wanted to make sure I mentioned in my blog this week. Nothing is more frustrating than seeing a super cute outfit on a site and when you click on the sizes that are available you see that a size 8 is the equivalent to an XL. Well…I don’t know about you…but to me….a size 8 should not be the largest size available when it comes to sizes! Those are the items I know to stay away from because I know that they will not fit to my liking. Not that I consider myself as needing plus sizes all the time or anything, but it’s nice to know that things are true to size and not coming from China where a size 2 is a Large.

Anyway….Jane.com is announcing that they are going to have a new division of their site that includes extended sizes. Some even larger than XXL. All women deserve to feel beautiful and what better way to feel beautiful than to wear an amazing outfit? Just because the page has extended sizes doesn’t mean it won’t have your typical S, M, and Large sizes…just that more sizes will be available! Everyone wins! If you want to check out what items they have to offer check out their extended page here!

Jane will be celebrating International Women’s Day from March 6th to March 8th. I’m going to highlight some of their best deals below for now in case you’re interested. You can’t go wrong with the deals they have…EVER. I think half my wardrobe, jewelry included has been bought through this site. (sponsored links)

On to the Wardrobe Wednesday portion of my post! Enjoy...

Conference night at work calls for a suit jacket, right? Especially when your jacket has gold polka dots!
Suit Jacket: Target (and from the clearance rack for like $15!)
Snakeskin Pumps: Nine West from TJ Maxx
Cream Blouse: Stitch Fix (I had a subscription for a few months. Too pricey to keep up!)
Stacked Bracelet: (sponsored link) Kinsley Armelle

Blouse: LuLaRoe Irma
Cardigan: Jane
Nude Pumps: Nine West, TJ Maxx
Layered Necklace: Lavender Blue (steph20)

Light Blue Top & Skirt: LuLaRoe Irma and Madison (this skirt has pockets!)
Navy Vest: Jane (It's a long flowy vest, but I didn't like the way it laid on my skirt so I tied it across my waist and tucked the ends in above my skirt)
Super Soft Leggings: Jane
Initial Necklace: Jane

As far as my last post and trying to scale back on my purchases...I would love to report that I have made significant cut back since that post. I haven't even place one Jane order! I usually am making like 3-4 a week! Some packages have been trickling in from purchases I made before my pledge, but I knew that was going to happen. And...I posted like 15 items on eBay over the weekend and I've already made a little over $50...How about that for progress, right!?? Well, you gotta start somewhere don't you? (Update: My phone just chimed and another purchase just came through! Make that over $60!)

That's about all I have for you tonight folks. Remember to check out my Kinsley Armelle page for some special deals they are running. I love all of the pieces I have purchased so far. They are all very high quality and come in such a great little tin that anyone receiving something from them as a gift will be very impressed!
