The above caption is a #truestory for this girl. Total geek moment, I know, but there is just something to be said about a beautifully organized spreadsheet! My problem happens when I share the masterpiece and I have anxiety at the thought that someone will accidentally sort it wrong and the headers are replaced with a row of information and columns are out of sorts. So I’ve become accustomed to making “locked” tabs within my spreadsheets that no one can touch, just in case the unthinkable happens and all of my information is tampered with. The locked tab serves as my “master copy” and can be easily reorganized to replaced a jacked up tab. LOL. It has definitely saved me from having to start an entire spreadsheet over, more than once or twice.
So how about this beautiful weather? Fall has finally realized that it’s time to commit already and just get on with it! I can get used to 65-75 degree sunny days where t-shirts and sandals can easily turn into sweaters and jeans from day to night. Windows can be cracked during the day to circulate fresh air, but then shut at night because the temperature drops so fast that frost is all of a sudden an issue for plants and windshields. I saw the post below on IG at some point and thought it was totally perfect for the weather situation we are experiencing.
I’ve definitely been dragging my feet between blog posts lately. Which means for lots of outfits to share over the past few weeks! You can tell based on the outfit how crazy the weather has been. Layers in some pics…bare legs in others. Layers, no layers, jackets, no jackets…I just can’t keep up.
I’m sharing a pair of adorable fur lined slippers that I bought for me and Kenna this month. I saw them featured on another bloggers IG account and gave them a try since sandals were starting to be a little too cold when hanging in the garage at night. Total winners. I highly recommend. Super comfortable and have a rubber bottom so you can wear them outside without feeling like they will get wet and soak through. Click the image for a direct affiliate link through Amazon.
And as the holiday season begins to approach it is that time to start scoping out gifts for others and maybe even a few for yourself! Jane has so many adorable options for gifts. Tons that are personalized for a special touch. Order early to make sure they arrive in time for Christmas. The holiday shirts are so adorable. So many different patterns and colors. Some funny, some, some traditional. But plenty of variety for everyone.
And…BOOTS! So many types to choose from and in so many different color options. I have a few from Jane and love them. Tall boots, short boots, duck boots, rain boots…ALL the boots…
I actually just bought Kenna and I each of one of these. Super cute and in 2 colors so we can swap them out!
I know I’ve mentioned the company below before, but I cannot say enough about how cute their products are. They are having a big weekend sale that will not be going on for much longer so I thought I’d shout them out. I have posted about them on my IG stories and am currently a subscription box member each month. 24.99 a month and you receive 2 pairs of earrings. Some I keep for myself and some I gift to friends and family.
The rewards you can earn for each purchase really do add up. I’ve earned 2 free pair of earrings so far and have redeemed so many points for percentages off purchases and free shipping perks. They just launched their bracelet line and I’m a total fan! I’m waiting on 3 bracelets to arrive now. They are all leather wrap bracelets and are sooooo cute and come in a variety of styles and colors that fit all different tastes. Since they just launched I’m sure there will be more styles and colors to follow. I’ll be posting pics of them in real life once mine come in. I’ve linked the instagram post with the weekend coupon deals below. They also have leather bags, clutches, and their new stud earring line is adorbs. I’ve order a few sets. 24.99 gets you 3 pairs of them! I like their products so much I’ve even applied to be an affiliate. I’m still waiting on my application to be approved or not so hopefully, if that happens, I can get a coupon code to share out with you soon.
I’m currently sitting in the lobby area at Towne and Country Athletics waiting for Kenna to get done with a volleyball clinic. She’s been coming for the past few weekends to prepare for her upcoming tryouts next weekend. I have to admit, I’m probably more excited/nervous than she is. I didn’t start playing club volleyball (or even organized school team vball) until I was in like 7th grade! So for her to have started playing volleyball at 8 or 9 and to be entering the “club scene” right now, it’s just a little surreal for me. I love that she loves a sport I spent so much of my life playing. I just can’t wait for her to be on a team and to experience all of the friendships and competition that I did over the years.
I’m sure next weekend while she’s trying out I’ll be a wreck for her. She doesn’t quite understand what all is entailed in this world, but I’m sure she’ll eat it up once she is living it. She loves doing the clinics and running through all of the drills, but I just don’t think she realizes what she is about to get into. Some of it I’m sure she’ll love, but then I can’t even imagine what she’ll say when she realizes that there will be weekend days when she will not see the light of day because she will be on a volleyball court from 8am until evening. hahahaha….I’ll let her find that out for herself though…no reason to spoil it for her. Her attention span is about to go through a wake up call on those days!
Kenny and I have never pushed the sports we played on either of our kids so Kenna discovering that she really likes volleyball is a complete bonus for me. She wasn’t a huge fan of soccer or basketball. She thinks she likes track, but I’m not convinced that one will stick. Running is definitely not naturally in her gene pool…if you know what I mean. Hell…she could play one season of club and discover she doesn’t like it. Who knows. But it’s still exciting to have her even trying it out.
It’s about time for the girls to be done so I’m going to hop off here. Until next time folks… Deuces!!
