My last post was on Oct. 20th. I guess I didn’t realize how long it had been. So, I apologize for all of the outfit pics later on. I hope everyone is having a great time shopping all of the great Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and early Cyber Monday deals. Someone really needs to come up with a theme for the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Why should Sunday be left out?
Decorating the weekend after Thanksgiving is one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving Break. I love getting everything out and figuring out where everything goes by determining the theme for each room/area. Each year the decorations come out just a little bit different and I like it that way. I’ve included pictures of the various areas around our house.
I did take advantage of a few online deals, but I’m pretty proud of my restraint on so many levels! I think I may have purchased a couple of things for myself from 2 places. That’s it! That’s pretty impressive when you think about how much I love to shop. I love shopping for other people just as much, so the incredible amount of restraint I still have to demonstrate this time of year is for real! But I will say that besides all of the gift cards I have to pick up, I’m finished with my Christmas shopping. The wrapping/presentation part is my 2nd favorite part of the shopping so I can’t wait to get started on that. Bows, bags, tissue paper, etc. All of the things! I know it just gets ripped up, but the presentation is part of the fun for me.
I bought the shirt below from Amazon in 3 different colors, but they were $9-$11 a piece on Friday! The milk frother and coffee glasses were a last minute buy last night after I showed an incredible amount of restraint by not purchasing the K-Cafe (that I found online for $125 when everywhere else it was at least $195!!) I wanted to buy it just because of the incredible deal, but after watching several YouTube videos on people using it, it wasn’t worth the price. Although it was beautiful and would have looked great in my kitchen.
The other place I bought something for myself was from my new favorite accessory shop (small business) Eleven10Leather and accessories. I bought a classic pair of black, red, and olive tear drops, size large. I can’t say enough about these earrings and how light weight they are.
Now for the long string of outfit pics. Still going strong with not repeating outfits, for those of you who doubted me. I’ve been doing it since I started teaching, but it’s still an accomplishment I’m pretty proud of.
It was Western themed day at school!
Now for some highlighted Black Friday Deals from Jane. Seriously…there are some deals on here that need to be added to your closet, ASAP! Like tummy control fleece lined leggings for $6.99?? Come on! They have them in dozens of colors!
Well…that’s all I have for now. I included some links to Amazon deals below. If you’re in the market for some “smart home” items then taking advantage of these bundles is right up your alley. We scored a Ring and an Echo the last time they had bundles and the Echo ended up being like $20. Bundles are totally worth it when you think of what you end up getting compared to how much they are separately.
And for all my fellow educators out there….I’ll just leave this here…I know you’re all thinking it…
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday everyone! I’m still in my PJs and am going to enjoy some chili Kenny has in our crockpot that was from last night. It’s always almost better the next day. YUM!
