The next outfit was from last weekend, but I loved the t-shirt so I decided to include it in this post. And…it’s part of the look for one of the things I’m loving right now. I’m one of those people that has never been able to go more than a day without washing their hair. I always hear people say they wash every other day and some articles I read even say that it’s healthy to do so, but I’ve never been able to get through more than one day without my hair looking greasy. Until now! I’ve recently purchased some hair products from L’Ange. It’s one of the companies that pops up on my Instagram and Facebook feed almost daily. The sales they have were too good to be true so I took a chance and placed an order for a bunch of products (some in travel sizes just to try them out first) and tried them out. I have never been a big “hair product” user before and I’ve always heard that products are what really make your hair style last and look good all day long. So why not give them a shot, right?
The products below are just a handful of the ones I purchased and I’ve been rotating between a couple of them to see how they work for me and I’ve been a fan of all of them so far. But what I’ve realized is that over the weekend when I don’t want to wash my hair, I have been able to get up in the morning and my hair isn’t greasy!
The pictures below are of THREE DAY HAIR! I just thought it was too good to be true and wanted to show you pictures of how it looked. Seriously, how did I go from not being able to go one day without washing and below I went three?
When I wear my hair wavy or with some curl, one product I have used is some Aveda hair wax type product, but I was never happy about how it made my hands feel. I would have to wash my hands 3x just to get it off my fingers. So I did some research and found the pomade below that had so many positive reviews and I have been LOVING it! I use it to reduce static when I’m done styling and to separate waves and curls. And…I don’t have to wash my hands 3x, if at all, afterward to keep them from feeling sticky. Win/Win in my book!
The Glaze and Sorbet are the two I rotate between every couple days (I’m trying to figure out which I like best). They seem to have the same effect on my hair and both smell great. I apply them to my towel dried hair right before I blow dry. The Root Booster is great to spray on your roots while your hair is wet. It gives your hair an extra boost with some volume at the roots. The Sea Salt Spray is great for hair that has a little natural curl or wave and you let it dry without blow drying or lightly blow dry and scrunch with your hands. Look up any of them on YouTube and see how others use the products if you want more information about different hair types.
If you follow them on Instagram or like their Facebook page you can be notified every time they have big sales. I was able to get all of the products above for $9 each and they are normally $20. I would also recommend their hair spray. It sprays so nicely and has just the right amount of hold. And I promise I’m not an actual spokesperson for them! These are just my honest thoughts after using the products.
My Kinsley Armelle ambassador kit finally came and the pieces are GORGEOUS! I will be taking pictures of the pieces and featuring them in my upcoming Wardrobe Wednesdays. I highly recommend you check out their site! Remember to use my code (steph15) for a 15% discount on the regular priced items and shop from my link even if you buy their sale items. Or type in my name from the Ambassador dropdown. They have some really nice pieces on sale right now! A sneak peek of the items I received is below.
You’ll also notice there is a new sidebar advertisement on my site’s main page. I have become an affiliate/sponsor for the jewelry company, 7 Charming Sisters. I would compare this company to Charming Charlies. They sell all types of jewelry, specifically statement pieces. I’ll feature some of their pieces in upcoming posts, but feel free to check them out!
